IOPS Annual Meetings & OECD/IOPS/OJK Global Forum on Private Pensions

The IOPS Annual General Meeting is held once a year. This forum offers a global platform for IOPS Members and Observers to formally approve standards, working papers, and address administrative matters.

The IOPS/OECD Global Forum on Private Pensions is an annual international event co-organized by the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The forum brings together high-level officials from regulatory and supervisory authorities, leading experts from the pension fund industry, and representatives of international organizations to discuss key issues related to private pension supervision. The 2024 IOPS/OECD Global Forum on Private Pensions will be hosted by OJK at Padma Resort Legian from 19 to 20 November 2024.

A short history of previous IOPS Annual Meetings and Global Forums
OJK has the function of implementing an integrated regulatory and supervisory system for all activities within the financial services sector. OJK is tasked with regulating and supervising financial services activities in the Banking sector, Capital Market sector, and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) sector, including Insurance, Guarantee, Pension Funds (PPDP), Financing Companies, Venture Capital, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services (PVML), as well as Financial Technology Innovations (IAKD).

To become a trusted supervisory institution for the financial services industry, protecting the interests of consumers and the public, while enabling the financial services industry to become a pillar of the national economy with global competitiveness and capable of promoting general welfare.
